Loss types
1. Create a new loss type
A new loss type can be created, assigned to a specific loss category and described within the "New type" pop-up.
Click on the Loss types widget to proceed to the main page.
On the main page, click on the button "New type" to open the pop-up.
In the pop-up, fill in all mandatory fields with the desired data and click on the button "Save".
The notification pop-up appears. Click on the button "Yes" to insert a new loss type.
A new loss type will appear on the main page table.

2. Overview the list of loss types
All loss types can be viewed in the main page table together with the detailed information containing: the loss category to which the loss type belongs, the number of losses and the number of root causes associated with it. Moreover, the data can be filtered.
Click on the Loss types widget to proceed to the main page.
The main page shows the list of loss types with detailed information containing: the loss category to which the loss type belongs, the number of losses associated with it, etc.
Loss types can be ordered. Click on the header column named "Loss type name" to order loss types by their names.
The main table will order loss types by their names.
Loss types can be filtered. Click on the "Loss category" filter to open a drop-down menu with options. Select the desired option. Click on the button "Apply".
A list of loss types with the corresponding data will appear in the table.

3. Modify the loss type
Loss types can be modified or deleted if necessary.
Click on the Loss types widget to proceed to the main page.
Click on details (lens icon) on the desired loss type to proceed to the detail page.
In the tab Details, click on the "Loss category" and select the desired loss category and fill in the "Loss type" filter. Click on the button "Save" to apply new settings.
The notification pop-up appears. Click on the button "Yes" to save changes.
A loss type with a new loss category and a new name will appear on the tab.
A loss type can be deleted. Click on the delete button (trash icon) to remove the desired loss type.
The notification pop-up appears. Click on the button "Yes" to delete the loss type.
The loss type will disappear from the main table.

4. Manage losses within the loss type
Losses associated with a loss type can be managed in the way one needs to shift a certain number of losses to another loss type. Moreover, this can be done in a massive way with the "Change type" pop-up.
Click on the Loss types widget to proceed to the main page.
Click on details (lens icon) on the desired loss type to proceed to the detail page.
Select the tab "Contents".
Click on the button "Change type" to open the pop-up.
To move losses displayed on the tab of the selected loss type to another loss type click on the select to open a drop-down menu and select the desired loss type. Click on the button "Save".
The notification pop-up appears. Click on the button "Yes" to move losses displayed on the tab to the selected loss type.
All moved losses will disappear from the tab table.

5. Manage root causes associated to a loss type
Root causes associated with the loss type can be managed in the way one needs to add a new one or remove an existing one. Besides, root causes could be associated with a loss type only for a specific plant/site.
Click on the Loss types widget to proceed to the main page.
Click on details (lens icon) on the desired loss type to proceed to the detail page.
Select the tab "Root causes".
Click on the button "Add root cause" to open the pop-up.
In the pop-up, fill in all mandatory fields and click on the button "Save" (root causes could be also associated with a loss type only for a specific plant/site).
The notification pop-up appears. Click on the button "Yes" to add a new root cause for the selected loss type.
A newly added root cause will appear in the tab table.
