The organization Management module configures the organizational structure that will organize the data in that Panoptikon instance. In addition, the organizational structure is particularly important because it will adjust the access scopes that can be granted to users in relation to the profile of any module (except those of the lowest level in the modules of the Environment 2. PROCESS, which will be defined based on the structure of the production process and not the organizational structure).

Panoptikon, in fact, is based on a hierarchical structure in which individual managers (Team managers) are assigned to a department that, in turn, is part of a site. Multiple sites can be grouped into branches, and these, finally, are part of the instance root. To better understand an organization of this kind, you can think of a large company divided into business Line (branch). Each business line has multiple locations (sites) and, in these, there are several departments. In the departments work the managers who can manage various items depending on the form in which you are: human resources, processes, or projects.

The organization Management module allows the very simple and intuitive management of the organizational structure, thanks to the use of tree graphs that allow to represent in an extremely simple way the many information necessary to Description of complex organizations.

Another characteristic of the module is to allow the advanced management of human resources data, which can also be loaded through massive import procedures. Resources can then be allocated in the organizational structure and have a user profile of one of the active modules on the instance.

The concept of profiling in Panotpikon is very complex. Every user, when he enters the system with his personal credentials, can have one or more profiles. These are distinguished by the module and the reference scope. The module determines the available functions. The scope, on the other hand, determines which part of the organizational structure can be used. The profile Management function of this module allows you to manage profiling by assigning, removing or freezing profiles to various users of the system.
