Sector Management

1. Create a new sector

A new sector can be created and described within the "New sector" pop-up.

Click the sector management widget which leads to the main page.

On the main page, all sectors can be viewed in the main table with the detailed information containing: sector name, reserved, areas contained, skills contained and the detail.

Click on the button "New" to create a new sector.

In the pop-up "New Sector" define the data for the folowing fields: sector name, reserved and sector description. When the data is defined, click on the "Save" button.

2. Overview of the list of sectors

All sectors can be viewed in the main table together with the detailed information containing number of areas and skills created per sector. Moreover, the data can be filtered.

Access the sector management widget which leads you to the main page.

On the main page, all sectors can be viewed in the main table with the detailed information containing: sector name, reserved, areas contained, skills contained and the detail.

The main table data can be sorted. Click on the desired header column table to sort the column.

The main table data can be filtered with these filters: "Search String"(search filter) and "Reserved"(a drop-down menu filter). Fill the data in filter fields and click on the button "Apply".

The "+" button in the main page table opens the pop-up with a table which contains information about the column that is selected. These columns are: areas contained and skills contained.

3. Modify the sector

Sectors can be modified or deleted if necessary.

Click on the sector management widget which leads to the main page.

Select a desired sector in the main page and click on the detail (lens icon) to proceed to the detail page.

On the detail page, select the "Detail" tab.

To modify the sector name edit the field next to the sector name (this is the mandatory field) and click on the button "Save".

The sector can be deleted. Click on the button "Delete" (sectors that can be deleted are those which have no areas).

The notification pop-up will appear. Click on the button "Yes" to delete the sector.

4. Manage areas within the sector

Areas of the sector can be managed in the way one needs to shift a certain number of areas to another sector or to remove them.

Click on the sector management widget which leads you to the main page.

Select a desired sector in the main page and click on the detail (lens icon) to proceed to the detail page.

On the detail page, select the "Contents" tab.

On the "Content" tab, select a desired sector name.

In the column named "Sector" there is a drop-down menu. Select a desired area and change the actual sector into the desired sector (areas within "reserved" sectors cannot be modified).

After the action is completed, click on the "Save" button.

5. Reserve the sector for role profiles

A sector reserved is intended to be used to store role-profiles related skills. Flagging a sector as "soft skill", the sector will be seen in the role profile management, but it will become invisible in group, subgroup and job management.

Click on the sector management widget which leads you to the main page.

On the main page, click on the button "New" to create a new sector.

In the pop-up "New Sector" define the data in these fields: sector name (this field is mandatory), the reserved field (should be checked to create a reserved sector) and the sector description.

A reserved sector is intended to be used to store role-profile related skills. Click on the "Save" button.

After is the sector has been created, the notification pop-up will appear.
