Notification Management

1. Overview notification events status

Check out widget`s chart and indicators. Access the main page, list events. Order them, filter them by module, type and status. Understand status indicators: Not active, active, forwarded.

Widget shows KAIs which contain a sum of numbers for each indicator and a percentage of these forwarded notifications over the available ones. Click on the widget to proceed to the main page.

Notification objects can be ordered. Click on the table column header named "Notification ID" to order notifications by ID number.

Notification objects can be filtered. Click on the filter named "Notification status" to open a drop-down menu and select the option named "Active". Click on the button "Apply".

Scroll to the main page and find the summarized number of the results in the "Results found" field which is at the footer of the main page main table.

2. Activate and deactivate a notification

Using the tools in the main list, activate and de-activate a notification. Set up forwarding rules on mail or SMS for an activated event.

Click on the widget to proceed to the main page.

To change the notification status from the inactive to active status, click on the checkbox in the "Status" table column next to the "Notification status" column.

The Mail and the SMS alert status checkboxes are available again.

To change the Mail alert status from active to inactive status, select the desired notification object and tick the checkbox in the table column named "Select", next to the column "Mail alert status".

To change the SMS alert status from active to inactive status, select the desired notification object and tick the checkbox in the table column named "Select", next to the column "SMS alert status".

3. Control notification messages and recipients

Access the detail page to read the message which is related to the notification and profiles to whom the notification is sent.

Click on the widget to proceed to the main page.

To open the detail pop-up select the desired notification object and click on the button "+" in the table column named "Detail".

This pop-up contains detailed information about the notification object.

The notification message provides instance manager feedback information for the user.

The name of the notification object is in the "Notification description" field.

The link of the notification is in the "Notification link" field.

The profile to whom the notification is sent is in the "To whom" field.
