Improvement tools

1. Overview the list of improvement tools

All improvement tools can be viewed in the main page table together with the detailed information containing: the sector and the area to which they belong, the number of improvement methods using them and the number of phases associated with the. Moreover, the data can be filtered.

Click on the Improvement tools widget to proceed to the main page.

The main page shows the list of improvement tools with the detailed information containing: the sector and the area to which they belong, the number of improvement methods using them and the number of phases associated with them.

Improvement tools can be ordered. Click on the header column named "Tool name" to order improvement tools by their name.

The main table will order improvement tools by their names.

Improvement tools can be filtered. Click on the "Sector" filter field to open a drop-down menu and select the desired option. Click on the button "Apply".

A list of improvement tools with the corresponding data will appear in the table.

2. Add tools to improvement methods

To associate a tool with an improvement method use the "Add method" pop-up; define the phase in which to allocate the tool.

Click on the Improvement tools widget to proceed to the main page.

In the main table select the desired improvement tool and click on the detail (lens icon) to proceed to the detail page.

Select the "Methods" tab.

On the detail page, click on the button "Add method" to open the pop-up "Add method".

In the pop-up, fill in all mandatory fields. Select desired options for method and phase form two selects. Click on the button "Confirm".

In the notification pop-up, click on the button "Confirm" to open the new pop-up "Select expected levels".

In this pop-up select the desired expected level for each improvement role where method will be associated for a tool, and click on the button "Save" to set expected levels. All improvement roles have a level 3 on the default.

A new created method will apppear in the tab table.

3. Manage methods using tools

Improvement methods associated with the improvement tools can be managed in the way one needs to modify or remove an existing one; to modify the improvement method (or the phase) use the button "modify".

Click on the Improvement tools widget to proceed to the main page.

In the main table select the desired tool name and click on the detail (lens icon) to proceed to the detail page.

Select the "Methods" tab.

On the detail page select a desired tool from the detail table and click on the button "Modify" to open the pop-up "Modify method".

The pop-up "Modify method" shows information for the selected method.

In the pop-up, select the desired options from two selects to modify existing method or phase. Click on the button "Save".

In the notification pop-up, click on the button "Yes" to modify this method.

In the notification pop-up "Success", click on the button "Ok".

A modified method will apppear in the tab table.
